International Business College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (www.acics.org) to award diplomas and associate degrees. International Business College is also fully accredited by the Indiana Board for Proprietary Education. 

The International Business College Medical Assisting program is currently accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB). The International Business College Veterinary Technology Program is currently accredited by the Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA) of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). International Business College is a private school incorporated under the laws of the State of Indiana June 10, 1901, and is authorized to award certificates, diplomas and associate degrees in the field of business and related areas. 

Any student who has a complaint relating to Title IV eligibility or administration, the quality of education received, or otherwise relating to the accreditation standards of Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools can submit a complaint to International Business College and/or to any of the following:  the U.S. Department of Education's Student Complaint website at www.ed.gov; the Board for Proprietary Education, Indiana Commission for Higher Education, 101 West Ohio Street, Suite 300, Indianapolis, IN  46204-4206; or the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division, Government Center South, 5th Floor, 302 W. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN  46204.  The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is currently not recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as an accreditor.  International Business College has until June 12, 2018 to become accredited by a recognized accreditor or the institution no longer will be elligible to receive funds under Title IV, HEA programs.
